Francisca Pereira


Francisca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian/Nutritionist & Sports Dietitian who completed her post graduate degree; Masters in Nutrition & Dietetics at Flinders University. She has also obtained a Bachelor Of Science with Honours in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Adelaide, and has since worked in private practice.

Francisca’s areas of special interest include:

  • Womens’ Health (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, pre & post natal nutrition)
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome and FODMAPS diet
  • Weight Management
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Unintentional or disease related weightloss / malnutrition
  • Gastrointestinal Conditions eg Coeliac disease, Constipation, Diverticular disease, Ulcerative Colitis and more

Francisca is also able to conduct nutrition workshops, and presentations for schools, workplaces or sporting clubs. Recently, she conducted a full day workshop, ‘Nutrition for Dancers’, for dance teachers attending the Royal Academy of Dance summer school.

As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Francisca is qualified to advise clients on specific nutritional management of many health conditions (no GP referral needed). She is able to translate scientific nutrition information into personalised, practical dietary advice.
