About Us

Welcome to Dulwich Family Practice

Dulwich Family Practice has evolved from a single service general practice into a one stop medical centre.

Catering for all your family’s health needs, our practitioners share a set of values based on quality, personalised service and preventative care.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE

Ensuring you feel comfortable and secure is important to us. If you need the services of a GP, we have 11 doctors; 6 female and 5 male for you to choose from.

SA Pathology is proud to be the public provider of pathology services in South Australia.

Our highly trained and experienced physiotherapists possess an extremely comprehensive range of skills to ensure your best chance of a quick recovery and return to your pre-injury activities.

Many injuries can be the result of poor movement patterns (biomechanics), which lead to overuse in the involved tissues (muscles, bone, ligaments etc).

Our psychologist is a fully qualified clinical psychologist who offers a wide range of services from paediatric to adult ages. He has worked at our current site for more than 3 years and is happy to see new patients.

Our Accredited Practising Dietitian/Nutritionist and Sports Dietitian is available to provide nutritional advice to assist you in maintaining optimal health. Special interests include weight  management, diabetes, and management of gastrointestinal conditions.

Information for Patients

  • Appointment Reminders

Our practice is committed to preventative care. Your doctor will seek your permission to include you on our reminder system so that you may be offered preventative health checks. Our practice uses electronic messaging via HotDoc for our reminder and recall system. You will receive your notification via SMS or through the HotDoc App, with instructions to click on a link. To protect your  privacy an authentication process is followed before you can access the message. Please discuss with  your doctor if you do not wish to be part of our recall and reminder system.

  • Mobile Phones

In the interests of courtesy to other patients, and your doctor, we ask that mobile phones be switched off, or to silent, both in the waiting and consulting room. If you must take an urgent call, please step outside to our covered verandah.

  • Accreditation

Dulwich Family Practice holds accreditation from Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL), which is a not-for-profit organisation licensed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) to accredit general practices against College Standards. Accreditation is a three yearly assessment process, and demonstrates that your doctor and staff are committed to the provision of safe, high quality care.

  • Privacy

Dulwich Family Practice operates a computerised notes and management system. Access to medical records is restricted to clinicians, and our system is protected by appropriate security systems.

Access to notes can be provided according to the principles set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. A fee may be charged, depending on circumstances.

Please note that Privacy legislation states that information regarding people aged 16 years and up cannot be given to others without a legal authority or the patient’s consent.

  • After Hours Care & Emergencies
